Charlie Brown Halloween Costume
Get scared. Very Scared In the spirit of Halloween, most talk show hosts dress up for the holiday with some crazy costume. Well, the host of the NBC Today show did just that. During Friday’s live show, today’s hosts dressed up as Peanuts characters, which is the scariest thing I’ve ever seen. I will never again be able to look at Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy, Linus, and all the other iconic characters.
Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, Matt Lauer, and other hosts did their best. I mean, they did, it’s okay. But they went too far. You know, when someone looks like someone squeezed cake decorating gel on top of their head (Rocker, Carson Daley, and Meredith Vieira), I’m not sure if that would make a fantastic costume. Has anyone heard of a wig? Let’s also discuss how Katie Lee Gifford’s Woodstock costume will give me nightmares for at least a good week. I think meteorologist Dylan Dreyer got it right when he played Charlie Brown’s kite.
My words don’t really make the costumes fair, so here is photographic evidence of how Today turned Peanuts into a scary bedtime story.
This is how you make a peanut costume.
Anyone else hyperventilating? Don’t worry because a doctor is there and can help ease your pain.
It’s been five days since Naya Rivera first went missing while visiting Lake Piru with her 4-year-old son, but now the search for the former choir star has ended in a tragic end. While many still hoped that Rivera would be found alive, authorities confirmed the actress’s death by taking her body from the lake on Monday, July 13. Hearing the news, fans revisited her old performances, one particular performance by Choir Rivera with “If I Die, Young,” which takes on a new, bittersweet meaning.
Rivera sang The Band Perry in 2013, shortly after the death of her former partner Corey Monteith. This episode served as a tribute to actor Finn Hudson, who also died on the show. But while Santana’s song was originally intended to reflect Finn’s too short time in this world, the lyrics now contain an extra layer of sadness. No one could have known how deeply this song would resonate with Rivera’s own destiny, but it definitely got Glee excited. fans now that her body has been found.
News of Rivera’s disappearance came on July 8 after her son was found sleeping on a boat in the lake. He later told the police that his mother had gone to the lake but never returned. Since then, authorities have searched the lake to see what might have happened to Rivera. She was eventually pronounced dead, but with no signs of a body, she left her friends and Rivera’s family in a state of disbelief and bewilderment.
I hope that now that Rivera is found, her relatives will at least be given a sense of isolation amid all this heartache.
